Armadale Society of Artists

Valerie was born in 1954 in Perth and married in 1974 and had a family of three children.   Art took a back seat for many years  and began again  in 2000 through the Huntingdale Friendship Club.  She joined a wonderful group of artists at the  Armadale Society of Artists in 2002.   From her fellow artists she has learnt many  new techniques.

Val is  currently entering into her  fourth year as Treasurer for the Armadale Society of Artists after being a committee member for 2 years.  She has found it to be a very rewarding experience and has really enjoyed working with many amazing people.

Painting and drawing have always filled Valerie's   soul and she  loves learning and helping fellow artists as well.   The biggest discovery that Valerie made  was that the strength of an artist comes with practice, practice and more practice.
