We took a very dodgy cruise to Havana in 2019 whilst on a house swap in Virginia. The price was good and at least it was available. The tedium of the 5 day cruise from Miami was worth it, just to experience this day in such a strange place.

Picture crumbling buildings, no tourist shops at all! People doing the most basic things, like sweeping, dressing up as Spanish dancers and lounging around. All very low key! Did the old car tour and gaped at the ramshackle cityscape. I have enough pictures and memories to keep me painting for ages!
